The African American Forum, Inc. (AAF) and AARP of Kentucky are proud to present An Evening of Smooth Jazz featuring Eric Darius: Live in the Coldstream Ballroom at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington.
This key component of the annual Lexus Smooth Jazz Fest's three (3) day experience, has become a marquee event for welcoming Jazz Fest fans to Lexington, the commonwealth of Kentucky's destination for Smooth Jazz. The performance is from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The format is designed to showcase the talents of regional Smooth Jazz musicians, who are new discoveries, rising stars destined for greatness or seasoned homegrown professionals that can get an audience stirred up with excitement!
The line-up on this day will feature a different facet of the Jazz genre in a club styled atmosphere reminiscent of the jam sessions from back in the day... when a friendly musical competition could keep a single song being performed in variations all night long.
International Jazz recording artist Eric Darius’ music innovatively crosses over all music boundaries from Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, to Pop, creating a very distinctive, fresh sound and approach that is uniquely his own. Eric is building bridges, forging new paths and ensuring that his heartfelt, organic and honest approach to the music will stand the test of time.

*Effective July 1, 2018, all tickets purchased for the 11th Annual Lexus Smooth Jazz Fest will include a 6% sales tax as required by Kentucky law enacted in the General Session that concluded in April.
